Buying your first PC or even considering upgrading to a new state of the art machine can be a mine field out there. There are many ways you can buy a PC, from Mail Order, The Internet, High Street, Computer Superstore, Second Hand, Ebay and others! There are also Pro's and Con's for each method, to consider.
Then you have to consider the type of machine you want, do you want a laptop, media center/home entainment system, or a common tower unit. Size, shape, colour, warranty can also play a part and this is all before you even consider the components and specification of the machine, and what you intend to use the machine for. If you walk into many Computer Shops and Superstores as soon as you walk in you will find the Assistant pouncing and then the talk begins often pointing you to a machine that is at the higher end of the bracket for extra commission for the Sales Assistant.
As part of the Buying Advice Service, I can help you to find the perfect machine and because I do not work for any of the companies selling the PC's I can offer advice based on the information you provide and within a budget that you are happy to spend.
I will then be able to draw up a plan for you that will include your ideal machine based on what you intend to use the machine for, budget in mind, shape, size, location, features required, features nice to have, future proofing. Once I have an understanding of your requirements I will then discuss in PC terms what specification of machine you need, for example discussing memory, hard disk space, processor, connections, graphics cards.
Once this has been draw up we can then discuss the options you have on where to purchase a suitable system. I will go through the Pro's and Con's of each option, I can if you prefer do the researching for you, and just provide a list of suitable machines based on the options we have discussed above. I can also place orders on your behalf, discussing warranty options, delivery etc.
I will also if you wish deliver, setup the new PC, backup data and items on the old PC if applicable, configure the new PC, train you on the new PC, and remove all packaging.
Whatever your requirements, please contact me for further information and advice.
