Often one of the biggest fears people have with buying additional hardware is the actual connecting, installing and troubleshooting that can arise from getting existing equipment to see the new hardware and to work correctly with the current setup. The same can also be said for upgrading for example you could be adding more memory to a PC, upgrading the size of the hard drive. The trouble is the packaging on the outside and the instructions inside or on a Cover Disk can be quite technical and can be enough to put you off even considering such a thing.
Some hardware we take for granted such as printers and digital cameras, but if you are a novice even these things can cause a headache, then if you move house or move the computer to a different room again because you will have to disconnect you will then have to re-connect !! Hardware Installation is a logic process really, just like cars to the trained eye. You can by all means go into big PC shops pick up the hardware you want, take your PC in or arrange for an engineer to visit at home BUT it will not be a cheap option and because the engineer has to get to the next appointment it will not be described to you what has been done and why. So should you ever need to install the hardware again, you will have no notes or details and more than likely pay someone a second time.

I am also more than happy to provide you with written documentation which you are free to do with as you please, or if you prefer you can by all means make your own notes.
